Week 12-Fantasy Picks & Drops

Updated: Jan 13

As week 12 rolls around, Fantasy Football players prepare for the playoffs, and for many of us, it is crucial to win this week. And so my first pick to help you win your week 12 matchup is Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the Titans. Despite playing on arguably the worst team in the NFL, NWI has been showing light in a very bad team. This week he plays the Texans, and after his performance last week against the Vikings, I expect him to do even better. I think Westbrook-Ikhine can show that he is one of the best WR2’s in the NFL this week. I say this because he’s been consistent for a couple of weeks now, and he could be great for your fantasy team if you have any of your receivers on a bye week or if any are injured. This is because he is still a free agent or on the waiver wire in most leagues, but he probably won’t be after this week, so make sure to pick him up for your team.

For my second pick, I will be going with Jalen Tolbert from the Dallas Cowboys. Tolbert has had his ups and downs, and while I don’t think he should be starting every week on your team, you should consider taking him this week, especially because he is most likely available in your league as he is in a lot of leagues. Tolbert plays Washington, who have one of the worst secondaries in the league, and I expect him to have a good game because this season WR2’s have been amazing against Washington. Players such as Tee Higgins, Chris Godwin, and Devonta Smith have had good games against this secondary as WR2’s, and I think Tolbert will follow that trend. If you have an open space on your team, you should seriously consider giving it to Jalen Tolbert for this week.

And finally, for this week I recommend you to sit Cooper Kupp. Now before you call me crazy, I know that he is coming off of a 30 Fantasy point game, but I don’t care. Kupp is facing one of the best secondaries in the NFL, and while this is usually no problem for him, I think that the Eagles’ secondary will give him a hard time. Kupp will probably be double-teamed as well, so Matthew Stafford will probably throw to Puka Nacua more often, as he has done for the past couple of weeks. I think that for this week, you should sit out Kupp and wait to put him on your lineup until next week when they play the Saints.
